Tsunami

An earthquake far beneath the ocean’s surface can produce a fast moving and powerful tsunami that eventually makes it way to exposed shorelines. These tsunamis can be predicted following a seismic event measured around the world. NOAA Weather radio broadcasts these warnings to areas threatened by impending deluge. People outside along an exposed coastline are particularly threatened as they are likely to be unaware of this silent threat.

LAWS units strategically placed at resorts and beaches along an exposed coastline will not only provide a siren and visual alert but will also broadcast specific instructions regarding what to citizens should do to protect themselves.
