Speakers

  • Four 100-watt weather-proof compression drivers mounted directly to high-performance outdoor speaker horns
  • Low-frequency cut-off – power rated at 500Hz
  • Additional speaker options available for specific applications

Beacons

  • Visual alerting provided by high-intensity / high-efficiency omni-directional LED array
  • High-performance RED LED beacon to indicate Warnings
  • High-performance BLUE LED beacon to indicate Lightning threats
  • Other custom colors available upon request

System Mounting

  • 7 gauge 20 ft light standard pole (4″ square O.D. standard, 5″ available as upgrade)
  • Special conditions , such as certain acoustic barriers, may require different configurations for optimum sound dispersion
  • Poles should always be specified based on local wind load data and sound exposure levels to locale

NOAA Receiver

  • Frequency user-selectable for all NWS/NWR channels
  • Sensitivity: 0.5 uV for 20 dB quieting
  • Modulation:  Narrow Band FM, 5 KHz deviation
  • Power: 12 VDC
  • Standby Current: ~ 350 milliamperes
  • NOAA SAME Compliant: Same and FIPS codes user programmable via internal serial port and PC

Environmental and Enclosure

  • Temperature: -30C to +60C (enclosure heating required in extreme cold climates)
  • Humidity Range: 0 – 98%, non-condensing (desiccant should be used in electronics enclosure in very humid climates)
  • NEMA Type 4 (may be upgraded to NEMA Type 4X at additional cost)

Battery

  • Sealed Lead Acid (AGM) 12 VDC 40 Amp Hour rating (quantity 2 – not included)
  • Battery charged by 110 VAC solid state battery maintainer
  • 5 Amp, 24 Volt with charger status LED indicators
  • Input Voltage 120 VAC at 2.5 Amps
